A New School Year Begins!

Welcome to Grade One!  My name is Kim Weber, and I am very excited to be your child's English teacher this year.  Together with Madame Marie Claire, your child's French language teacher,  we are looking forward to a wonderful year of learning on our Grade 1 journey. 
I will be using this blog to communicate important information to you throughout the school year.  You will notice that there are many links to websites that will support specific curriculum areas as well as links to learning happening in our classroom.  I will be posting information about events at school, important dates, and reminders to ensure you are included and up to date throughout our school year. I look forward to working with you and your child to foster a love for learning, and an intrigue for inquiry.  Above all, I am committed to ensuring that each child is aware that they are a “valued” member of our inclusive classroom community, each with their own very special and unique gifts, talents, and ideas to share.
