We Have Chicks!!!


This morning we arrived at school to hear the delightful sound of 13 little baby chicks that hatched over the weekend.


Students were not present to see this chick hatching; however, they were able to observe the hatching on our smartboard.




 Students observed them already quite active and playful inside the incubator and we could hear them chirping throughout the day. The chicks that have made our classrooms a very popular visiting spot for students and teachers! Tomorrow, we will transfer them to the brooder.  The students are very excited to introduce them to everyone on Friday!Education Week Highlights: Please see school website for more details.
